Imagine trying to learn, write, and focus for up to eight hours a day while sitting on a hard classroom floor. For an astonishing 80% of students in West New Britain, this is their daily reality.

Sitting in uncomfortable positions for long stretches makes it incredibly difficult for young minds to focus on their lessons. At the Bucket of Love Foundation, we believe every child deserves a proper place to sit, learn, and thrive. We are on a mission to change this statistic—but we cannot do it alone.

For the past 10 years, the Bucket of Love Foundation has been established and dedicated to helping communities across the New Guinea Islands region. From supporting education, sports, and health initiatives to boosting local livelihoods, we are deeply committed to empowering our people.

We are thrilled to announce a brand-new Desk Sponsorship Opportunity for both local business houses and passionate individuals to help us bring high-quality, life-changing school desks to classrooms across the province.

Our student desks are not just pieces of furniture; they are a community-driven solution. Here is what makes them special:

• Prem Quality & Craftsmanship: Handcrafted by our local team right here in Kimbe using the finest hardwood materials. They are built to last and designed to offer the best ergonomic learning experience for students from Prep to Year 8.

• Smart Modular Design: To reach our most remote communities, our desks are built as modular units. This ensures we can easily transport them across New Britain's diverse terrain and assemble them directly in their new classroom homes.

• Supporting Local Jobs: By keeping manufacturing right here in Kimbe, West New Britain, every single desk sponsored directly supports local employment and skills training.

Thanks to our very first donor, the Sir Brian Bell Foundation, we have already built and delivered 30 desks to the Baia Primary School! Now, we are ready to scale up and reach the thousands of students still waiting for a place to sit.
